Death. The great equalizer. The inevitable future we all face but rarely want to contemplate let alone discuss publicly.
Yesterday, I released the most impactful work I have been blessed to do in over 40 years of serving Christ’s church. To interview a true servant leader whose days are known to be short and numbered is challenging beyond compare.
But when this man is a true man of God with nothing to gain or lose by what he says, you will hear unvarnished truth in every sentence. Because every sentence matters. Every moment matters.
You can agree or disagree with his conclusions, but you cannot say that they are not authentic and heartfelt and delivered with love and the passion and calling of making every second count. Because they all do.
When it matters most, what matters most is what you do and say.
We are all dying. Most of us don’t know when. Some of us don’t want to know.
But what if you had a good idea of the timeline? You would likely do what really mattered and say what you felt needed to be said. You would not pull punches, because you’re never sure which will be your last one.
In other words, it would all be the best truth you know, and the most crucial things you needed to say.
Watch a true man of God and his loving wife walk you on a three-part journey through death and toward Resurrection. With faith. With love. And as authentic as a completely uncensored conversation can be.
Part 1: The Journey Through Life In Search Of Calling – Fr. George L. LivanosPart
2: “The Moment After” – The Clarity of Vision from the Partner’s Perspective – Presvytera Dianthe Livanos
Part 3: The Journey Through Death To The Resurrection – Fr. George L. Livanos
Part 4: This was recorded as a surprise for Fr George entitled “The Brother’s Perspective” with Fr. John Touloumes and Dr. Nicholas Loutsion.
Watch and learn what it means to live your stewardship calling. Watch and learn what faith and love and life really look like. Watch and cry, and laugh, and be moved, and maybe even disagree or shout AMEN!
But please watch the legacy interview of the amazing Fr. George L. Livanos and his wife Presvytera Dianthe as they take us on a personal journey through a terminal disease and shine the light of the Resurrection.
This is the perfect message to watch and reflect on your journey through Pentecost as you write the chapters of the book of your life. May you too have the faith of this man of God and the knowledge that you have fully lived your stewardship calling.
Don’t just click a like or heart. Just watch the videos. And learn. And then change something in your life as a result
